I believe a "Take that, you Yanks! The Brits now have an EVEN BETTER TANK THAN YOU GUYS!" is in order... (although, the Challenger II was already superior to the M1 Abrams!) :D :D

Sounds like the same technology of the invisible cloak.

Lessee...

Lighter, better top speed (claimed, I think the M1 is slightly faster tbh), longer range (by a "whopping" 10km), rifled 120mm main gun (none of your german smooth bore stuff!) ^^

Read that. This thread is not to argue which tank is better.

We're not arguing over which tank is better ( it doesn't need to be argued! :D ), anyway, I'm as much American as I am British... so it doesn't matter to me. :D

Damn. I'd rather get one of those Japanese coats for the troops too. Then they wouldn't be seen.

from what i understand, it would work by creating a skin of microscopic cameras linked to small displays on the opposite side....

Im with SnV with this Invisible Tank crap, it is too Horriblewoodish...and besides the Idea is the British Governments Way of Spending their citizens hard earned Money on a useless Technology that has no real benefits on a Battlefield....so its Invisible, break out the Thermal Optics....and Boom theres your Invisible Tank that can be seen day or night.
