some speedball guns will still shoot faster so i would guess they would allow it.

I dont think its been attempted, and legality is up to the issue of the field owner, though its not legal according to SPPL rules (more than two barrels). My own personal oppinion is that thats a little over the top, hammers are supposed to be REALLY heavy, but 4 guns would burn through too much paint. 30 bps is all you need, 60 is just over kill. Plus it would weigh a ton (build with tippmans) and I dont think anyone could carry it for large amounts of time. It would most defineatly create some major intimadation factors though.

And Gun Slinger, the fastest speedball guns top out at around 22 bps, unless they're modified, in which case they can go as fast as 30. In no case can a speedball gun shoot 60 bps, which is what a "quad-trouble" tops out at.

There was talk about something like that at Aftermath 2020 last year. ;) How the idea of makeing a 4 gun system on a crank would be unreal. :o

I know the thought is out there and someone right now is close to that idea.

the double trouble kcicks nuts, but the trident is jsut a step above it, in my opinion. however 4 guns is just out of the question. the weight, and logistics are nightmarish. however unlike the trident, this thing would have to be tank mounted to be effective at all.

so i would say 3 markers is the practical limit. i mena you could essentially slap 3 upped angels onto the trident and go for 90bps, but that is a little crazy both logistic and cash wise.

I just had a picture in my head of 4 apex's on that thing, all adjusted with different amounts of curve and shooting in different directions. You could have paint flying everywhere with that thing.

It could also be the only marker capable of cutting down small tree's with as much paint as it would put out.

I have to agree with will 4 guns is a bit much. and it would have to be tank mounted.
The DT is a great set up for a couple of reasons, mental intimadaion, cover fire, pound paint thru weeds and small willows. But to add more guns at some point you would get deminished returns. any thing past 2 gunns IMHO

If you want 40 plus balls/sec build a custom gun like on the Tippmann hellcat
What ever happend to the thing anyway?

the hellhound u mean? i believe it got retired or something.

anyways, 2 double barreled markers would do it as a tank weapon. :P (i am making a doble barreled marker lol)

I did a search and looked through 16 pages of the gallery. No luck. Correct spelling or a link is needed.

Der Verteidiger, AKA The Defender. Flatline's Up!'s quad (Well, more like double Hammer) monstrosity firing 80 BPS. Sadly, it didn't quite make it out to D-Day 2006, a Cyclone broke. I'm not sure if it was up for 2007, but I don't think so. Word is he has something special planned for it for 2008.

I have seen before, and thank God I have never been shot by it. I would like to see a video of it shooting.
