STAR WARS: The Lost Empire by Mission Masters
Three Rivers Paintball - September 5, 2009

Posted Image Posted Image

THE STORY:
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…

[Episode 3.5 – The Lost Empire]

The Galactic Empire, led by the new and ambitious Sith Lord, Darth Sidious, has moved their star fleets into every corner of the galaxy. Whole planets are raped of resources, peoples are enslaved and forced to serve the Emperor and his protégée, Darth Vader, and weapons of massive power are being constructed in every star system under the Empire’s control.

A Rebel Alliance has risen in response to the Empire’s bold moves. Darth Vader’s Clone Army is suffering losses due to random strikes by these warriors bent on keeping the Galactic Empire at bay. War is brewing.

But beyond the scope of both the Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire lies a system in a tucked-away corner of the galaxy. Many are aware of the Deep Core, Paksu Kern, but none have ventured there and returned to tell the tale. What lies on the other side of the strange one-way hyperlanes vectored at the Paksu Kern? In the midst of the clash of ideals, one place lies unmolested, untouched, lost to all memory and scrutiny.

Will you take the Galactic Empire head on as a Rebel Alliance warrior? Or will you serve the Sith Lords, Darth Sidious and Darth Vader, and take control of the last unconquered civilization? Journey to Paksu Kern for the adventure of a lifetime, Mission Masters style!

THE TEAMS:

TEAM BLUE
REBEL ALLIANCE: As a direct reaction to the Galactic Empire, the Rebel Alliance warred throughout the Star Wars galaxy restoring the ideals of the Old Republic. The primary founders of the Rebel Alliance was a group of Senators who are disgruntled about the unjustified, extraordinary powers of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine.

The Alliance has grown to include members from hundreds of races, creeds, and ages. Because of their alignment for justice and honor, Jedi Knights – those beings who are able to control the Force – lend their full support to the Rebel Alliance to accomplish goals they would otherwise have difficulty achieving alone.

TEAM RED
GALACTIC EMPIRE: The Galactic Empire is a galaxy-spanning regime, established by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, to replace the Galactic Republic. By the time it’s revealed that Palpatine is a Sith Lord known as Sidious, the Republic has fallen and the Clone Army is established as the policing body of the Galactic Senate.

During this massive transition of power, Darth Sidious discovered and trained Darth Vader. Since that time, the Galactic Empire has become the most powerful controlling force in the galaxy. Side by side, Darth Sidious and Darth Vader use the Clone Army of Stormtroopers, Doomtroopers, and other Sith lords to bend the rest of the systems to their will. Their control of the Dark Side of the Force is overwhelming.

Cuda was thinking of Chewbacca, but he's far too short. Perhaps if he takes off his shirt, he could pass for a Wookiee youth. LOL!

Are you guys going for any specific movie or battle with this one, or is it just a general Star Wars theme?

It will be our own storyline and our own system creation within the Star Wars universe. As such, it will be our own story with our own characters, locations, etc. We will likely borrow vehicles from the established set, but the rest will be created. We'll also use Star Wars concepts such as the Force, the "Darth" prefix, etc. The storyline will fit seamlessly.
