About how many shots will one get out of a 12, 16, or 20oz tank with a stock a5, thx.

Summer and winter will make a big difference.

summer will be about 600 - 800 - 1000.

A-5's aren't particularity known for their air efficiency. They do better than a lot of markers though. I would take their numbers and subtract 15-30 shots per tank.

Like said, the conditions you play in will be a huge factor. Polishing your internals will help with air efficiency. The less porting a barrel has the better for air efficiency. Something 8-"12" is an ideal length. Paint that matches your barrel's bore size and blows out with a puff of a breath will also increase air efficiency.

If you ever fire your marker and notice a vapor cloud coming out the end, that is liquid CO2. It shows inefficiency in a valve and is pretty much wasted CO2.
