I just got my Edge kit today. Happy to say that my A-5 is half as loud as when flatlined, (still pretty loud), but the accuracy is dead on. VERY HAPPY! And yes, the kits that are being manufactured now are ceramic coated, front and back. And they include extra o-rings in the kit to make sure things are nice and snug too, something people complained about with J&J before. I don't think you can go wrong with this kit. I'll report my findings after this weekend's game.

When you screw the barrels together it makes a nice screech sometimes. Lol I just recently figured out that the little plastic bag contained the main o-rings, not extras. Lol. I had to twist my barrel in hard to get it to stay. It comes with 1 o-ring for every back. It's quite a stretch, but it fixes the problem of the barrel coming unscrewed.

hmm, mine only came with one for each front, i had to substitute tank orings for the backs.

THIS THING IS SWEET! I put 4 balls on tops of each other all in consecutive order from 30 yards. Very very consistent. Well worth the money!

I just got that same barrel kit, but with only 1 front (8", I'm a front man anyway) off of ebay for 37 dollars shipped. I feel great about the deal I got on it! Can't wait to get it and try it out!

I just got mine today, but I'm pretty sure it's one of the older, non-ceramic coated ones. Haven't shot it yet, but from what I've heard about it I REALLY want to see how it performs.

I've had my J&J edge barrel kit for a couple of weeks now but forgot about this thread. This kit is super accurate and EXTREMELY quiet. Well, it was extremely quiet for me to hear because I went from an A-5 with the Interceptor barrel to an ION with this kit. It's also extremely easy to clean like the other barrels they put out. I actually haven't had a break yet but I just saw moisture in there and squeegied it out and it looked brand new. I would say to anyone thinking about getting this kit to either save up for it or go but it now because it is that darn good. Definite 10/10.

I have a question, what would be a good way to measure the paint size? I've been sticking it in each back to see which it stays in the best while also coming out, but I'm sure there are other ways...

i have a question: im ordering mine soon and when it says pick front size, it says 10'' 12'' and 16''.
Is that only the fronts without the backs, or is the whole barrel with the backs?

thanks
