Well, I got desperate to play paintball so I went down to walmart of all places and got a quick fix. The carver one was cheap and looked sturdy enough but when I got it home I realized it doesn't have a lot of the features that I would like in a marker...so I did what anyone in my situation does...polish a turd. So I did a little tinkering and now it's a tiny bit more comfortable.

Anyway, the stock seems sturdy enough but we'll see how it holds up in game play tomorrow.

Yea, it's a combination of pipe and 2x4. Bent the pipe a little and bolted a piece of 2x4 to the end for comfort...not the nicest thing in the world but it's actually pretty comfy to hold.

that accually looks like a good design for a SMG style marker

Take off the logo and add a front grip and at a quick glance nobody would know that it is a carver one. Stock looks pretty good.

Funny story actually. The stock held up fine and felt comfy firing right handed but trying to switch hands during gameplay was a little clumsy and the only fields open were speedball. So, I ended up taking the stock off halfway through the day to help me get around bunkers a little more comfortably.

I wonder if you could make that into a foldable stock with a simple hinge? It seems like a fun platform to mod.

I bought one of those for my girlfriend last year before we hit up a big game at Barrie, she loves the thing, and honestly, I find it one of the most comfortable stock paintball guns to hold ever. Like my SL-68 II pump, I just use the tank as a stock.

But your stock mod does look pretty decent for a quick job!
