So, since there is a German thread for ION 08, I thought I'd make an Allied one. I will be going with my dad, and some friend(s). So, I guess we can discuss stuff in here...

Also, I know that there were a lot of problems last year, but let's try to keep that stuff out of this thread.

I am calling Skirmish up today to make sure I get a spot. :)

Me and three of my buddies are going also, I made the reservations about two weeks ago. I've been trying to get all my gear up to date since it's been awhile sine any of us have played. Anyone know anything about night vision? Looking to byy either a scope or monocular, binoculars but looking for some tips before I buy something that's so expensive. We went to ION a couple of years ago and played for the American side and got tore up at night by people with night vision, want to avoid that this time.

I'll be there, and I'll be bringing at least 36 others with me. :(

We (Team WülfenKow & Tyrell Corp.) will be in the same place as last year; on the other side of the dirt road, across from Spec Ops' Allied Tent area. If you plan on stopping by, there's a rule that you must follow: Don't milk the cow.

And if by any chance you see someone wearing an Action Ghillie and an orange SpecOps armband, that would be me.

In exactly 2 months, we will just be finishing up our night battle (I think).

This topic should be pinned. Who's going to be the person to get everbody together for the missions?

Last year it was the "the first person to arrive picks the spot and calls the rest where it is". Well, I was the first, but me and the Skirmish staff didn't see eye to eye on commandeering one. So the "next person to arrive picked the spot". I believe the same rule will apply this year.

If the Spec Ops Allied Tent sign is still around, that'll mark the spot. It's roughly 5ft high and fluorescent orange; can't miss it.
