A new weapon has appeared in paintball. The tank. These moving monster bunkers strike fear into even the most battle wary veterans. They crush defenses with their vast arsenal and blow up bunkers. CPs are abandoned at the sight of them. But alone, they are useless. Yes, they need the human element. Tankers are on the move all over the country, building tanks out of anything that rolls. The question: will you be one?

i really dont feel the need to drive a tank. dont get me wrong, i bet its a fricken blast to drive one of those, but id rather be silent and have better aim other than being really loud and having 3000 shots

What are you talking about? What could be more useful on a Saturday walk-on *no tanks allowed* game on a field less than a hundred yards long than a good tank driver? :dodgy:

Seriously, the Special Ops positions need to be flexible enough so they can be used anywhere.

where else can you shoot people while blasting music over the speakers of a vehicle? well, other than a drive-by :P

i've never driven or rode in a tank...never had the opportunity. but it's gotta be fun to pound paint like it's WWIII. still, there isn't a need for a tank in every game, on most fields it just won't work. i'd rather play regular, but still, i wouldn't mind being in the calvary once in awhile.

Alright, I'm a Tanker :panzer: turned TankHunter :) .
And being in those monsters is one of the funnest things I have ever done.
I understand where people are coming from when they say, "I would rather take them out myself", but those people usually change their minds.
But, it's expensive, I've traded the thrills of being a Tanker to the thrills of being a TankHunter...

and I do not regret my decision (most the time!).

How about a mobile weapons platform? Nerf cannon powered by SCUBA tank. Double Trouble powered by another SCUBA tank with a 6000 round feed system. Netting in front with 2 ft on sides at 45 angle. All mounted on a lawn wagon. Redesigning and rebuilding. New version will have a motorized axle. Hope to add video camera feeding laptop, also speaker system fed by laptop. Barney theme all game long.

I love tanks, and they are a wonderful weapon for especially automotive DIYers, nevertheless, I am a poor student that can only afford PVC to hunt them.

Tanks are great, and I've done my share of driving, but there's nothing in the world like the David-and-Goliath feeling of taking down one of those massive beasts with a simple toss of a hand grenade...

Id like to see tanker as a position. I have to use Tank Hunter on the brigades as it is now since we dont have armor on there...

Which reminds me, I need to add to my game long. Had a good day a few weeks ago of mowing down the poor crunchies while riding shotgun in the APC... :P

My tank went bye bye. But luckily ODX has plenty of Armor to crew till I get my next one built.
