ok my question is does anyone know of a barrel back that is threaded for the a-5, and the front of it is threaded for the a-5 as well not threaded for a particlular front that came in the kit. as an example this would let me use any a-5 threaded barrel ( like a c-series ) with this universal back that lets me have a better paint to bore match while using the barrel of my choise as the front.

The Python Barrel kit will.

It is just a series of backs that can be used with any barrel. You simply select the threads you want.

And actually you could get several sets with different threads on either side...so you could have a set of different bore barrel adapters.

If you get the Python you're going to want something large bore to act as the front. No point matching the Python to your .688 paint and using a .685 barrel as a front.
