I use a 98c pro with cyclone hopper and RT. I started with co2 and tank attached to the marker, then upgraded to co2 on my vest and a remote line and everything worked fine. Then I made the jump to HPA with the remote line. I'm running into a problem. With HPA and remote line the RT does not work, 3 round burst at best. I'm thinking the problem has to be with the remote line and hpa tank valve. Either the remote line is not opening the valve all the way or it is going in too far and blocking the airflow. I even tried keeping the remote line valve unscrewed 1/4-1 full turn and still have problems. I know it's not the remote line because it works fine with co2.

Ideas besides the obvious 'get a new remote line' or 'get a new hpa tank'?

You need to adjust your RT. That is normal when making the switch from CO2 to HPA because of the differences in the gasses.
