Hello all,

Don't know how many of you have heard the great news but it would appear blink-182 is back together after their "indefinite hiatus." Being a long time fan I am beyond words with excitement to hear that they have buried the hatchet and have come back together. Their website(s) states "Summer 09" as a date to look forward to and I for one sure am. Any other fans about who are excited by the news?

Here's to many more years of "crappy punk rock"
Doug

I hope they are going on Warped Tour. That would be kick butt.

Cuz I get in that for free

Haha seeing them at warped would be alright, a cheap show I suppose but I would rather see them headlining a show.

I wouldn't call warped a "cheap" show, and they won't headline anything big for a while. They aren't starting from the bottom by any means, but they are far from the top. Their fan base has faded, and new bands have arisen.

Yeah, too bad about the plane crash. :D

But I am so stoked for some new Blink! I grew up on Chesire Cat, Dude Ranch and Enema of the State, and The Mark, Tom and Travis Show. TOYPAJ was pretty good too. But I have to say, I didn't really dig their last Self Titled album. It just didn't do anything for me.

Here's hoping that they go back to the crappy Pop Punk that I can't help but love so much. Hopefully I won't be the only late 20's person at whatever show I get to go to... that would be kinda creepy.

PS: Yay for toilet humor! :(

im sure a lot of their old fan base will return so their shows aren't babysitting events. not many people liked their self titled, i didn't think it was bad at all.

They have some good stuff. Hopefully they'll make at least a few more good songs.

Am I the only one of the forums who does NOT enjoy the band?

And I'm not being bias about anything. I own one of their disks from when I was younger. My taste in music has changed and I really don't like their sound anymore.

My music taste is very much detached from the past and what blink sounds like but I still like it today. I guess they are just one of those bands you can listen back on and still enjoy their music even if you are tuning in to some new sounds (for me anyways).

They used to be my favorite band. I loved enema of the state. I kind of lost my taste for them, but I still listen to them every now and then.

THE INVISI-SIG!
I have no sig, because I am cool like that.
I love my phantom, because it is cool like that....schweet

Heard the news today from a friend and am stoked that they are coming back together, I love Blink. I'm just hoping they don't come out with any AVA sounding crap.

Are you agitating my dots? 10%
