I had a couple of requests for pics and a review of my gunhead stock when I got it so, here goes.

In all its glory

This thing is pretty cool, it's the one thing I've always wanted but didn't think existed.

The stock comes with an adapter that replaces your velocity adjuster, this adapter has it's own velocity screw to replace the old one. The stock then slides over the adapter and is held in place with a set screw. Very nifty design in my opinion. I like this setup much better than the JCS stocks, which get secured using the back screw on your trigger frame (they look kinda fragile to me, maybe I'm wrong).

Construction looks to be very good quality, the adapter and base of the stock are all metal, the back of the stock is plastic, military grade according to the website.

Overall it is very nice, the adapter fits nice and snug into the gun, and the stock fits nice and snug over the adaper; so everything fits quite nicely with little wobble. The only wobble comes from the butt of the stock, it is a little loose on the base, but not much, as a moving part I kind of expected it.

The feel here is also very nice, for me anyway. I can sight through my cheapo dot sight without my face hitting the stock, so I shouldn't have any trouble with my mask.

I should be out playing this weekend, so I'll have a chance to test it on the field (I'm so excited) :D

If any of you spyder owners out there have been looking for a cool stock with more mil-sim appearance; take a serious look at gunhead stocks.

That looks pretty nice. Can you see through the point sight with your hopper on?

Excellllllllent! I'm gonna order one for my Shutter. It's my backup gun for my A5 and I've been thinking of how to make it a better gun for rec/scenario use. Thanks alot for the link man! :P

Glad you like it, and yes, the sight just clears the feed tube and hopper. A sight with a larger FOV would be nice, but I'm not sure it would fit, the daisy sight is sufficient for now I suppose.

Nice to see that a Car Stock can be installed into a Spyder....now all you need to do is give your marker a new paint job, a shiny marker like that doesnt really match the looks of the Car Stock.

I tried to get one from Gunhead, and had to get Paypal to refund me the money. It went for about 2 months with no word from them. Paypal couldn't even get in touch.

DO NOT BUY FROM GUNHEAD unless you can get in touch with them first

On a side note, I have a car stock that I started to modify for a Spyder/clone. I'm not going to use it, and am looking to get rid for a measly 30 bones plus shipping.
