There is NO point in mounting a scope on a timmy....you could save alot of money and just get a tippmann or spyder and actually be able to use the scope to a slight extent.

If you really felt the need to mount one youd most likely need to either drill holes in body or glue a rail on.

Both would completely ruin the resale and looks of the gun.

You could get a barrel shroud and put something on that. It's non-permanent and would work on any marker. The kind I'm thinking about has four sets of 7/8" rails and 2 holes - ostensibly one for clamping to the barrel and another for a flashlight.

I agree with ted, the scope will not only be useless on the gun but destroy resale. It would have no functionality.

Aren't there some devices that clamp onto your barrel and hold a scope? That would save his marker from being "violated". :(

I'm here, Benjie, I'm here, I said, clasping his hand on my arm.

I want to snipe people, and a scope makes that possible at longer range :ghillie:

The gun will not shoot as far as the scope...it most likely wont shoot half as far.

A reddot would work if you really need a sight.

But again if you wanna "snipe" then get a gun more suitible for it...timmys were meant as painthrowers if your looking for a single shot marker look at a mech....a rf autococker would be a great thing...you can mount a reddot on it without modification and still have a hopper not in the way...they are also very quite and accurate.

Peace,
Teddy K

A scope isn't the best idea and here's why.

A paintball has a large "margin of error." You'll rarely see one ball hit the same place as another.

Further, the arc of a paintball is much greater than a bullet so, depending on what range your target is, it may or may NOT be in the field of view of the scope! Put another way: if you're looking through your scope, you may see the ball or it may drop completely OUT of view.

A "1x" scope isn't a bad idea. A simple iron-sight would work great too. The point of these is just to show you where the average impact of your paint is so you have a better chance of your first shot connecting with your target.

BTW: the part I was suggesting is also called a shotgun UTG mount. ("under the gun") Here's one on eBay:

I own one but haven't used it yet.

Dude your gun would shoot just as far as everyone. Plus paintballs are so inaccurate a scope would not work very well.

Dang you guys type to fast lol.
