This just arrived in my email. I haven't built it but I figure I should pass this on anyway!

Most of these components I had already had on hand, but I would estimate the cost of this project to be around $30-$40. I have not shown any of the SMD components (except for the PIC) in the photo below.

If you build it, post up and let us know how it works. Take it to the field and compare it to theirs.

Oh wow. I thought that was going to be "go buy this, solder it in, wedge on barrel, shoot" Lol. Man was I wrong.

Only problem with that is that he is basing the price off of just components, not the tools required as well. I'd say it would be closer to 80-100$ if you have to buy some of the tools required ( 10 for dig calipers, the PIC programmer is actually about 40$)

Still, that would be awesome, and at a 99% accuracy rating? Thats pretty freakin awesome.

I'm a little miffed that the JT marker is more consistent than my PM8.

Oh hey, I have that same marker. JT Tac5m Recon. They are pretty damn consistent when using hpa. But still lack a rear velocity adjuster. Still uses a setscrew to block the path of air. My one gripe about it.

Oh, and did anyone download the PDF? I don't have access to it. :(

Wikipedia is the Walmart of knowledge, they have everything, but it is all tainted one way or another. One way to know if your lazy is if you use print preview, because you can't press the print button your self.

Eh, gas hogs though. I haven't even shot mine in awhile, powertube might be cracked......

Oh, back on topic, speaking of chronos, i just found out my dad had bought one at the "local" gunstore, generally used for shooting arrows and pellet rifles over it. Also works extremely well for Paintballs. Only $25 too.
