Promaster, barely more and will vastly outperform them all.

Now that it was mentioned, I agree with the promaster. That marker rips, but you might also want to look into the wraith as that is one of my favorite "entry level" electros.

I genneraly like cockers although there not always the greatest "starter markers"

the promaster is a great gun for any price (well, almost)

i say ion or cocker, although i would segest if you are playing woods to get a good strong mechanical for a backup (or primary) because electric+rain/mud=a crappy day of paintball, meanwhile if you can adapt and go to a mech when the weather goes south and if no one else adapts it will be a good day for you and you dont risk frying your board on the electric

But it still won't be nearly as good as a Promaster out of the box and it won't be anymore reliable than anything else. As long as you take care of markers, they will last just as long as another.

Ions have a nasty habit of blowing hoses and solenoids. I would go with something else. Mech cockers aren't fast or slow.
I would snag a wrath or try and get a promaster.

In 1970 the Chevy Nova was created. This was the worst selling car in Mexico because the words "No va" mean "Doesn't go". If you would never buy a Saturn Ion because the word "Ion" means "Doesn't shoot", Put this in your profile.

cocker and wrath are on top. Followed by electra, ion, MR1, and the tippmanns.
