It uses a hall effect sensor.

If I remember correctly, the Hall effect sensor uses magnets to tell when the trigger is at rest or not. So I think it will feel more like an optical trigger than a microswitch.

Here's a description on wikipedia of how it works. I've shot my friend's, but I can't remember how it felt.

Read this, 4th paragraph. Unfortunately, I've never shot an Angel so I can't compare. Hopefully a Mini owner will post at some point.

It has magnetic return, if I'm correct. So it'll have that same snappyness feeling

It uses a hall sensor to determine when the trigger is pulled, however. This will have a feel similar to an optical switch, as there is no actual physical contact. For you geeks out there, the Hall sensor has a coil that exhibits inductance from the motion of a magnet roughly along the area vector of that coil. This creates a current through the sensor, which is then translated by the board into a trigger pull.

The trigger pull is nice and smooth, not too much magnetic "choppiness".

Put this in Your sig if there was a fire in your house and your paintball gear would be the first thing you grab.[b][color=#33CC00]

There is an adjustment near the pre-travel adjustment screw that is the trigger activation. On top of that screw is a weak magnet that, once pulled away from the board thats located between the body and the frame, fires the marker.

The magnetic return is under the post-travel adjustment screw. Its too light for my tastes but thats all personal preference. I'll grab my camera and get some pics up soon.

If you dont get it I can get pics of the board as well. I have a Rythm Innovations trig btw.
