Gorilla Rockets are a great alternative to the Nerf Pocket vortex (which are getting harder to find at $5.00 -$7.50 each + shipping)
The Gorilla Rockets fit into my RPG just as easily as the Nerfs and proformed just as well (about 100 yrds)
I got mine direct from www.UrbanGorillaPaintball.com but I just saw them on ebay (search launcher ammo)as well at six for $9.00
overall UGP Gorilla Rockets are nice for the price and if you loose one in the woods well it's only a buck fifty.

Non bias non sponsored They shoot just as far, just as accurate, and are half the price of nerfs. At UGP
www.rustyspaintballgear.com sells them under a different name at $25.00 +$3.25 s/h = $28.25 for 6 look under airsoft ammo
those are the Pros the only con is that they are not as durable as Nerfs but as I originally stated... Nice for the price

not as durable, but u only shoot them once anyway? At a scenario u shoot a rocket and odds are its gone.
Now who wants to shoot an $8 vortex rocket and not get it back. Thats like an $8 grenade. Pretty rediculous IMO.
I like and use the Gorilla Rockets, and i wouldnt use them if they werent good.
They will also be the rocket of Choice in our Scenario Paintball Tank PRIMAL FEAR. (debut for the tank is October 28th, Battle For Berlin, Skirmish USA)

I’ve seen them in action and they work great. Wouldn’t want to be shot by one.

Well, I ask because the "full rules" http://www.scenarioc...m/fullrules.asp
Section 17.3) Rocket Launchers
Names Nerf 2" by name ->

Quote

All rockets must have a device for plugging the barrel and must use ONLY two-inch Nerf rounds.

I would get clarification from SPPL staff prior to bringing them to an SPPL event without a backup plan.

I believe that nerf 2 inch is not a brand refference but rather a material and size refference as the term "nerf" stands for
Non-Expanding Recreational Foam
I've sent an email but no response as of yet from the sppl :D
That being the case Gorilla Rockets should be approved.
