I feel a need to specify what I have experienced with my X-7. I shall list the strengths and weaknesses.

Strengths.

cyclone feed=no batteries,

7/8in built on rail systems,

durable and reliable (its a tippmann),

can use C02,

stock iron site is very effective,

easy to maintenance and field strip,

Weaknesses.

little heavy,

not very accurate (suggest a stabilizer),

price (as far as I'm concerned, the a5 is a step further for having a front ASA),

good balance is hard to achieve,

front grip with site will wiggle (put a few rolls of electric tape on the barrel will fix this problem),

bit loud (there are no low pressure kits for it).

Over all I think its a good marker Its just a bit costly to make it preform its best.

Thank you for the review... I was thinking about this gun, but you are right. I'm gonna stick with the A-5

Your welcome. I've never used an a5 but I did some research, and when I found out that the a5 had a front ASA I thought the x7's mag was kind of pointless for paintball. I even take the mag off usually because it affects my profile. I could get a smaller mag but I wonder why they don't just put it on in the first place.

Overpriced, heavy 98 custom. But good review.
