It should be a good time, I recently took a class, so I now know how to butcher my own deer. I am pretty excited, the more time goes on, the more I start the feel more at home out in the country then at home in the cities lol.

MMM I can already taste the venison on the grill...mmmmmmm

Hell yeah man. It ain't too hard once you get the dressing and draining done. I remember when we were younger, after a hunt we'd go to my uncle's place and tie the deer upside down from the trees, dress 'em and cut out the tenderloins, season them, and throw them right on the grill straight out of the animal.

You know, I'm about due for a deer rifle. Sick of borrowing them, and sick of having not hunted in ages. Gun season opened 2 weeks ago.

Well, I am sad. The last 2 or 3 times I took my .308 I just bought out, I had some issues. I put the clip in with the rounds, and chambered the first round. Only to hear a "ting" sound when you pull the trigger as if you pulled the trigger with the rifle unloaded. My uncle is thought it might be the spring on the firing pin is going bad, but I don't know.

Unfortunately I have decided to pack up and move, and go back to school. So, I am seriously strapped for cash until I settle back in. So I wont be able to have it looked at by a gunsmith until this summer.

On the plus side, I have my Grandpa's bolt action 30-30 for this year. I took that out a couple times this summer as well, and I didn't even have to sight it in. It was already on the money. I had a lot of fun this summer up at my buddy's house. I must have put 50-100 rounds through the 30-30 so I would know how it shoots.

PW, as far as the Tenderloins go, that's when they are the best!

I swear, I think I pulled something in my back again. Second time this week.

And I gotta work tomorrow (EDIT: Well, technically today). Good think my buddy Jim will be there to help the shift along.

working three straight weeks. Good news is i clean up on OT. Bad news is i desperatly need sleep, and i never get it. :(

Not looking forward to thanksgiving anyways. I never eat enough to fill me cause i only eat mashed potatoes and turkey (hate everything else), and i don't want to eat enough to fill me cause then no one else gets any. So i generally starve thanksgiving, go home hungry as **** and then deal til i go to work. :( No restaraunts are open to deliver and i am far too lazy to cook when i get home. Been the same thing the last 9 years...dont see things changing anytime soon. meh

Dude, Ruby Tuesday is open from like 11-9. You could go get a burger or some wings or something. A lot of places are open an turkey day. I know, I've worked them for the past 6 years straight.

Used to work at Cracker Barrel. You wanna talk about hell . . . I had nightmares about Turkey Day. We'd sell 2 grand in food an hour at about $10-15 a plate, ALL DAY.

Yeah, I got to work tomorrow. Luckily it's only 9 to (probably) 5. We didn't take any Reservations passed 4, and it's all typical Thanksgiving food, so we're just going in, prepping everything that morning, then plating to order from 1 to 4. Sous Chef set up the kegerator in the kitchen, so we're gonna be drinking the whole day.

Then afterward, we eat the leftovers and drink more.

My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.
We put our glass to the sky and lift up. And live tonight 'cause you can't take it with ya. So raise a pint for the people that aren't with us. And live tonight 'cause you can't take it with ya...

I had almost forgotten about this thread. Been a while. I been super busy. ALmost done with school, 2 more week then i am done with the semester. THen just one more to go and freedom. No more 30 hour long mondays for me. XD AH Finally! Though it did help break the monotony of working 2-3 weeks straight. LOL

Got a Samsung Galaxy Tablet. I LOVE this thing. It is great. I doubt i will use my laptop much anymore other then to move files onto it. :D

Pounded a Four Loco down yesterday in a minute. Was nicely buzzed for awhile, added a few shots of Belvedere vodka to keep me going and i was able to sleep peacfully through the night. :D

Evening. Random night off work. 2/3 of the way home from my 30 mile commute to work and my defroster broke, in the middle of a blizzard. :( Thankfully ford was open, but sadly they didn't have the part needed in stock. Gotta go back tomorrow. :(

That is most unfortunate.

I would rather be dealing with car troubles than the messed up triangle, errr, polygon of drama I am tied up in. If it wasn't for alcohol, I wouldn't be in this situation...
