Wow, that looks pretty good! Simple too. Is that electrical tape on the front? If so that could be changed, but it's not bad. Everything goes really well together on it.

lol that's "temporary" electrical tape until i can find a good alternative. unfortunately, i dont think ill find one for my next big game, although i could put hinges in the inside of the heat guard and have it able to flip up, i'd have to make it so it can come apart again. but again i couldn't do it in a week. thanks!

also it is actually very simple, i just took the stock from a crap airsoft m14 i had and cut larger holes for the receiver of the mr2, took me 2 days to cut and paint everything, although the barrel was originally an ak47 apex barrel so that took a little longer than expected to dismantle. I couldn't remove a piece from it so i had to cut the stock more to make it fit, which is why there's a random section of it missing in the front, but i ended up just cutting the piece off altogether becuase it was blocking the porting of the barrel

wow this is wierd cause i was gonna make an m14 out of my mr1 (i have an mr2, which i believe we have the same barrel, the ak-47 apex, which i swapped for a shorter apex and electric tapped the shroud parts to me barrel), anyways uve made me even more determined now, except im going to try a wood shroud, probally plywood then resined and hardened

That's cool. Congrats on the mod.

So why did you make the front sight backwards? If you're gonna do a replica, might as well do it right.

i made it backwards because it was originally an ak front sight and it looked weird when i left it, also its not really a replica of an ak47 so im not overly worried about it.

wow, I am actually genuinely impressed. I came into the thread thinking "oh look, another reskin of a random gun, whee.", but actually, I'm (once again) delightfully impressed. Good job.
