@ PistolWhipped - No I have not heard of him. But will check him out, now that you mention him. From the picture, it would appear that you are pretty close to BFE??

Nah, you just sound like a lot of people over on The Survival Podcast's forums. Good to see another survival guy over here in any case.

Also, yeah, BFE territory. :D

I have a camo floppy hat that My mom sewed a pouch in the top and I keep 20 feet of fishing line, a fishing hook and a razor in it at all times. So there's half of my survival stuff in my hat.

So, you're going to send me some of those 7+ BILLION rounds of ammo, right? It'll make your job with task 1 easier.

I'll accept ammo donations from the stock pile and cut down your workload again.

That's a third the effort of before.

What kind of round are we talking here? .22? .38? .45? Regardless, 1 round per Z isn't going to be enough. Nobody is that good they can get a headshot in every time in every situation. You have to expect at lest 3 shots on average... that's 21 billion rounds to take out every Z on the planet.

A 230 gr .45 round weighs what? about 1/2 an ounce? that's 4.2 billion ounces.... 2.6 billion pounds... 1,312,500.00 tons (if my math is even close to right). If you buy boxes of 20, that 210 million boxes....

Handgun rounds are more commonly sold in boxes of 50.

Still, an impressive amount of firepower there. I trust there's enough guns and/or replacement barrels for it all too, since guns will wear out with that kind of ammo requirements.

With that many rounds at that weight you'll need a pretty big vehicle to carry it all. Something like this:

Mind you some modifications WILL be needed....especially since it has a maximum speed of 1 mile per hour.

A rig like that, and gasoline issues become a matter of hours, not days (or weeks, or however much you have stocked)

So 150 gal/minute is an issue but billions of rounds aren't?

Clearly, you haven't seen many survivalist's basements.

I'm Canadian. Our survivalist basement contains several cases of beer, some food, water, toilet paper, several knives of varying sizes, maybe a bow and some arrows.
