Well, I hear alot about the Electra, and alot about the Ion. And its about even.

I can either get the Ion, with an HP tank, Egg.

Or I can get the Electra 05, Halo, 20 oz.

Reason being I am short on money, and unsure which to buy. I have been lucky enough to test the Electra, and absolutly love it. But then theres a large group saying to get the Ion. I play woodsball/speedball, switching back and forth. I don't want to blow a bunch of money right away, and will eventually get upgrades such as new barrels, or internals.

So help me pick which one. Tell me any heads up advice ect.

thanks.

I am probably going to get the Ion. Hopefully get a cheap HP tank, and get a good deal on an Egg hopper.

After that I am thinking about getting the Firebolt, and the QEV.

I'd go with the Electra. A buddy of mine bought and ION and has nothing but problems, even the local airsmith couldn't help him. Short in the board, cylinoid, and bad air leaks from all over. He's sent it back to smartparts twice and the store and airsmith about a half dozen times. Now it just sits in his closet and has never fired a paintball in the field. Not that all IONs have problems ( I still hear good things from other players) but spyders are pretty reliable and EASY to fix, clean and trouble shoot. A five year old can fix a spyder. ROF is also a lot higher on the electra. up to 30 bps as compared to 17bps. anyone can work the rocking trigger and get great resolts.
