You spelled Crye wrong. Just FYI. :dodgy:
psy·che (sie-kee) n.

I did not spell cry wrong, C R Y does in fact spell cry. It may however be the be tthat the logo for the company that makes multi cam is spelled with an “E”. BTW CRYE trips the spelling filter in ms word. :D

I can only hope your quest to be the forum spelling checker does not take up to much time. :D :P

Flecktarn (or flectar, flectarn) wasnt made during WW2. It was developed sometime during the 70-80's i think. It is however based on a few old WW2 patterns like the Dot 44 or Oakleaf patterns.

My favourites and what ive found to work the best have to be both CADPAT and Flecktarn. Each on their own or even a mix of both. I usually like wearing some Canadian OD pants with either my Fleck hat and shirt or CADPAT hat or shirt. OD seems to blend fairly well into everything. The two patterns kinda act like accents to blend in certain environments (CADPAT in bright green spring and summer, Fleck on the dull days and dead autumn times). Ya anyways good topic, ive always enjoyed camouflage patterns, they just got that appeal to them.

My favorite would have to be MARPAT for most areas, then SO Digi if the area is quite a bit greener, such as a plain, not a forest.

I truthfully combine my camo. Marpat for my pants and specialops digi for my top. I have discovered just thismorning that ACU digi is very effective in the snow.
Paintball is a game. Win or lose you still need to wash your camo. Winners just use less soap.

I use a marpat uniform with a specops digi vest. it looks great, and just adds more colors to the marpat.

I'm unseeable!

I love the SO Digi. Several guys on the OPFOR commented that even when I started shooting, they couldn't seem to get a visual fix on my position, even when I was on the move. I'd hit them, then when they tried to suppress me, I'd hit the deck and pop up 20 yards away. Unfortunatly I've had 2 pairs of Marauders crap out on me, so I'm considering BDU's or ACU's. I don't know if I'm just getting a run of bad luck, but the material doesn't seem too durable. There's a good reason why the first production run of ACU's were 100% cotton, then after thousands of complaints in the field for major tearing, it was changed to 50/50 Nylon/Cotton Ripstop. I had a buddy deployed to Afganistan who went through 4 pairs of ACU pants in a month, with the same failures I experienced. I really don't want to switch back to BDU, but I need durability, so unless the Marauder gets a little tougher, I guess I'll be getting some of the new gen. ACU's. Another camo not mentioned, that is very effective is ASAT. My buddy Shane (Ambush Sniper) uses that stuff, and when he hits the field, he is a ghost. Even looking directly at him, knowing he's there it's very hard to pick out from the background.
