Scaring "noobs"... yeah, that's a productive use of time and money.

Why not work on your skills so that when the newbies see you play they are awed by your paintballing ability? Why not be that cool person at the field who's always willing to help out the new kids with a technical help or giving them a tip to improve their skills? Why not strive to be that guy that 99% of the players at your field look up to because he's a good player, a good guy and a real asset?

im the short person no one notices and would want to look up to because everyone is bigger than me

I help new players, but I give "noobs" poo all the time.

A kid bunkered me yesterday at a scenario game but would stop shooting. He was about 11-12, about 5ft high, and had no idea what he was doing. He had all Empire gear on, and an Etek. I finally shot back and hit him in the mask, and he started to cry.

I have about 22 pretty bad welts (bleeding) and I was pretty PERTURBED at the time.

I did stay back most of the free play that day, and told newbies to move up and I think I helped a lot of people have a good time. I'm pretty proud of myself too, I only shot a case!

Well now, a Confession has been said of your Sinful Ways of Mistreating the usage of the Sport of making Fun of New Players, inwhich you are a New Player YOURSELF.....consider yourself as a MARK, that being said, you better hope the More Experienced Players dont eat you Alive on your First Day at the Field!

If you buy a decent gun and setup, its not hard to do. I've spent about $700 on my setup, which is a hell of a lot less than some people.

I know its not hard to do, but for your first setup? My first setup was a Spyder Imagine package off of ebay for 85 bucks.

oh first setup, didn't see that. Yeah, i'f go with somthing a little cheaper and see if you even like the sport, unless you've been renting for awhile and know that its somthing that you want to do, in whick case i don't see it as unreasonable to buy decent gear now, its saves money in the long run when you'll have to buy it anyways.
