What can I say other than WOW

This Thing CRUSHES the Flatline by a mile(and I love my Flattie)

Everyone loved it soo much, Spec Ops bought 60 or so of them, and took the flatlines off the Double Trouble and replaced them with 2 Apex's. And did the same on ALL of thier Tac-1's they were using

With this you can CONTROL, Left hook, right hook, drop shot and long flat trajectory shots with a twist of the barrel

this thing is INSANE, im selling my flattie :)BT Paintball

Oh yeah this was at the IAO also, i got to test shoot it, so i dont CURRENTLY own one ;)

I saw that on bts website. I was gonna get a flatline, but if this thing is as good as it says, I may get one.

Did you hear if it was as paint-picky as the flatline?

its not paint picky at all

ill try to explain the way it works:

in the silencer looking part, theres a lil ramp, you can adjust how high or low that ramp goes. That controls the spin on the ball, cuz the ball makes contact with the ramp and spins. Then you twist the silencer part the direction you want the ball to curve. Thats ho it works

So when the ball hits the ramp does it create friction causing the ball roll along it?...tuss making it spin..

EXACTLY,
it sort of works the same way as the flatline, with the creating friction on the ball.

Cheap, no skill. <_<

I'm going to be the first to say I actually do not like the Apex. My best friend just got one and I was extremely unimpressed. I suppose each one is diffrent but in this case my A-5 flatline was not out-ranged by any means, and if you think the accuracy is a bit shaky with a flatline- well, I'm gonna get swamped with people saying I'm a tard and don't know how to use the Apex- buy one but personaly you couldnt give me one. But on the other hand -awesome review , lots of enthusiam. Maybe I'm wrong about the Apex as a whole- in fairness I didnt shoot many balls through it- and in furhter fairness my friend loves it and says he likes it better than his flatline; so really don't right it off because of me. SP Tippmann backs it and I agree with most of his oppinions so educate yourself about it and give it a shot.

i have one and i love it...i bought it friday and have made quite a few new enemies over the weekend...lol...gotta love this thing...it still takes skill, its not like you just sit back and shoot around every turn...it doesnt work like that...it only hits certain lengths and angles...you may not hit someone behind every bunker but you can scare them enough to possibly move and get a better shot on them...personal opinion...its great.

Given the flatline costs $99, what is the price difference between the two?

yea right its beautiful. me and some friends went to the pb shop and he had one and let us look at it. we are his best customers and as soon as i said apex he handed it to me, when we go in there we never spend less than 250. i bought this today and a adjustable car stock and i love the look of my gun now. we are playing a big pb game saturday and cant wait to try it. everyone is going to hate me for having this i told my friend and he already does. he's our number one player/sniper and now he has some competion.

Eh... Im not impressed with the Apex... especially in the hands of a newbie who is going to buy it thinking its the "magic barrel". By the time he has found out where I am, calculated wind speed, the position of Mars in correlation to Venus, and figured out the average airspeed of an African swallow, (not the European, of course) I would have already moved before he could twist his barrel into creating a cheap shot.

Im mainly joking, but seriously... its just another toy. Nothing that a player cannot overcome.
