Ok, so there's a Tac One I'm looking at that someone's selling, but it doesn't come with a barrel. I read on the AGD site that Tac Ones are Autococker threaded.
But then I was seeing Automag barrels with no threading, and reading about some sort of "twist lock" barrels....
So being a good forumer I used the search button! :P :P

And found this post: http://forum.specialopspaintball.com/index...automag+barrels
Which answered most of my questions, but not completely.

The last post mentions that the old twist-lock automag threads were replaced with AC threads, but you can still order mags with the old design.

So my question is this- did AGD EVER make the Tac One with the old threads? Is it even possible to order one with the old threads?

People who say anything is possible never tried to slam a revolving door!!
There is no problem that cannot be solved with the proper application of explosives and duct tape.
How's that for a contradiction?

Nope. The Tac-One's body is, and always has been AC-threaded. Older mags, like the Classic 68 had twistlock barrels.

More recent mags like the ULE and Tac bodies don't come in twistlock flavors, only AC thread.
