Here's what I use:

Tippmann 98 Custom with dual trigger, cyclone feed hopper, response trigger, JCS Xshort barrel (5.5"), and dead on pro style drop forward.

this works pretty well for me, but thats not why i made this topic

Sigs aren't actually allowed on the Special Ops Forum, so I don't have one.

Lately Ive been using my Ion - stock everything w/ evo2 & 3k47. Its light & bouncy, can lay down paint when I need it, and doesnt give me much grief in terms of care.
For daggers, I dont really think type of gun is very important. What counts is that its one that you are comfortable with. Not just physically, like how it feels in your hand - but how shouldnt have to think about what you're doing with it, how it just naturally does what you want it to.
For instance, I have never gotten the hang of Angels. I may admire them from afar, but they just dont feel right.

Oh it rocks the A-5 and the 98c alot. Um but the A5 does have the lightness and less bulky body advantage over the X-7. Otherwise the only reason they said they like the A5 more is because they don't want to spend money on the X7 lol. It clearly is, All other Tippmanns < X7

For a dagger A-5 >> X7 why? As a dagger you don't need an extra .6 lbs of weight for mil-sim. Lighter is better!

What works best for me is a reliable, consistent mechanical marker with a stock and Q-Loader. I've got a Q-Loaded A5 with Longbow stock right now. Clearly the A5 itself is the weak link in my setup, I'll be getting a Q-Bow soon.

I use my 98 with a pen spring trigger mod, a 280 round hopper and a 5 inch barrel I made, and a remote line. Works great for me.

Which is why a A5 is not good for the position. :D
