There are lots of Gun painting guides around here. Most you can use spray paint.

let me find one...

It doesn't have to look good as long as it works

their is always a sniper watching you

AHH no! spray paint = bad! lol It chips really easily. And once it does it'll look crappy. Id suggest a rifle rag.

What i did is took a 3 by 3 foot piece of black meshy material. (its got penny sized holes in it.) then got some burlap (or that cotton string stuff on modern ghille) then weave it how you like.

i really liked how mine turned out. It was really simple. Then i attatched it with little pieces of velcro (one on the gun, and the opposite on the mesh itself) then i could get rid of it when i wanted to really move.

It depends on the kind of spray paint and if you do it right if it flakes or not.

Well, any spray PAINT will chip and flake - it's just not that permanant. Spray paint is for metal lawn furniture and mailboxes. Firearms grade stuff isn't paint at all, but more like a rubberized/ epoxy combination.

Duracoat is awesome from what I have heard, and can be done by you from start to finish. It is very permanant, and it won't chip or rust over time. It is definately more pricy than spray paint - but as always you get what you pay for. :D

Would a rifle rag also "happen" to make your barrel a little quieter, let's say, accidentally? :P
