I'm just starting out getting my own stuff but i know enough to hold up a decent paintball conversation.

I've been playing for a while using my friends gear spares and there main gear if they can't play with us.

But i was wondering... I've been saving money from working and i really like the Dagger Mark 2 design. I wanted to make a 98C version but with some other things. I was going to get the 98C proE (to save 50$ on an eGrip) and put a qloader on it. Would that work?

I was also going to put most of the mark 2 stuff on it. ( the cp on/off and a 4" C-Barrel etc )

Would that be okay?

Thanks

i wouldn't base your whole gear set-up off of the positions on the spec-ops website.. create your own set-up off of how you play.. so your getting a 98 and i'd recommend hpa, but as far as the barrel goes, i'd get a J&J, IMO it's the best for the price.
Alright, rant over.
but to answer your question, yes a qloader would work on the E-gripped 98, but i'd go with an electric hopper IMO

I had a Q-loader and it was nothing but trouble. I would suggest getting a hopper that can match your rate of fire. You really don't want to spend the time and money on a Q-loader. If a ball breaks in a pod, its useless until you clean the pod out and dry it. For the most part, you really don't need the rate of fire

So what would be a good electronic hopper? decent price also would be nice.

Egg 3 is good for the price, check out ebay. NOTE: I personally would not base a weapon like this off a 98, but to each his own.

I'd stay away from the Halo B. They can be a pain due to the fact you have to use a screw driver to remove the battery case cover . I've heard of the battery cover not surviving directs hits too well either.

I have to agree with Match99, even with a lot of upgrades, its still a 98C. Personally, I like the Cyclone feed for them. You can upgrade the cyclone and it will feed over 25 BPS, at least it does for my A5.

yeah, but my friend has been playing forever and he says there isn't much difference between the a-5 and the 98c besides the cyclone. Is that true? are there any advantages to either??? He doesn't like his cyclone.. IDK anymore.. jeez. lol

A-5's and 98's are very similar if you put a rocket cockII and a cyclone they are pretty much the same IMO..

Its like everything. Some people love the cyclone others hate it. When you take a shot with the cyclone, it automatically feeds the next paintball. I personally love the ones on my A5 and 2 98C's..

Get the Warp Feed from Airgun Designs for your 98 Pro E, which also provides that No Hopper hovering in front of you like the Qloader, but with the Warp Feed its alot less of a hassle to deal with compared to the Qloader.

Also with the Warp Feed, a Hopper is needed and that a regular Gravity Hopper is all you need to shoot 200 balls.

Also again..the Warp Feed can be mounted virtually on every Mech and E-Markers, except for Pump Guns and Pistols.

I have the Warp Feed on my Spyder MR1 (not the EMR-1) w/E-Trigger and I also can mount the Warp on my AKA5 & M4-98 and both are equipped with the RT.

Yeah, im not so sure i think i might just grap and electric ricochet. Something. I dont want nothing to be too complicated. i dont like it at the side exspecially (and don't tell me its a bad idea i know but i like it.) when i will have my tank on it like the old dagger mark II.. so electric hopper it is then. lol

While your here...
Evil Fingers do you know anything about the Michigan Monster Game?
I heard it was really dumb from someone. But i dont know. Some of the youtube vids look lame as well.

Help?

It's entirely up to you if you want to go for the traditional way of using a Hopper on the Gun or go for the Qloader or Warp Feed, remember its your Money and your marker.

As for the Monster Game, Ive read articles on the game through APG and PB2X and thats about it, but for you hearing about the game from someone that said it was dumb, then that person was having a Bad Time during that game, also if you think its a dumb game as well by viewing some videos on it, then you will never know whether or not its a lame or dumb game at all, if you dont participate.
