I bought these since im a proto fan and i wanted elbow pads. These are alot better than my brother skateboard elbow pads that i use to wear.

Pros-flexible
tough
tracktion
comfortable
light padding around arm
Good protection from rocks

cons-40 dollars but you get what you pay for.

The padding on the direct elbows and on the forearms is so tough i can wack a stapeler on it and it dosnt hurt (you still feel it). The main thing i like about these over regular skateboard pads are they cover the forearm as well and are so comfortable.

I give it a 10 out of 10 definatly this is the quality i exspect from proto.
Any question ask away.

why not just get Jersey with Elbow pads allready in it? Elbow pads make a big diffrence when crawling and such now just keep them elbows tucked in.

I will eather buy a new proto 06 jersey with that or a 06 proto pants as a new pair and so i dont buy knee pading since it has a thik layer of something in its knees.
and yes i will try to keep my elbows tucked in.

I tried on the new Proto jersey and didn't really notice any elbow padding. It may have just been too small for me to notice immediately. Very comfortable, though.

Sometimes extra pads are needed, depending on play style. I noticed that when I smacked my knee harder than crap on some ice on New Year's Eve this year in a swamp...

i have the proto 07 jersey. the elbow pads are quite thin, i really suggest you get some actual elbow pads if you are sliding around and dont want your joints all bumped and bruised.

I have proto 06 pants, I really love them and the knee pads will keep your knees safe from crawling around on brush and maybe some gravel, but if you plan on doing some hardcore diving than you will still probably want knee pads. But I must say I really like them.
