Oct 19th Wackies IL field..

Hey everyone Im new to the boards but not the scene.
I just moved back to the St.Louis Area and starting playing again and as looked around for a thread but didnt see one, so I'll ask here..

I have a few friends (28-34yrs) all pretty much new to the sport cept one. Im hoping to get them into the scene since we all played back as kids just me being the only one sticking through.

Well anyway, just looking to see if anyone else is planing on going. Id like to possibly meet up and help my friends ease on in the grove. Most these guys are military brats and all of us grew up in 150 acres of woods. So they shouldnt be stumbling around to much. hehe..

Hey Eries....I just moved back to the StL area as well (from Nashville)...I didn't know about the Zeds Dead and probably won't be able to go to that one...I'm hoping to go to Christmas Clash at Smakzone in December.. If I can find a good cheap game in November I'd like to hit one a month...
I'm always on the look out for other scenario players around these parts...Welcome back...hope to see you out on the field sometime.

I saw about 4 people from the organizers crew running around the field with cameras so I'm hoping to see some too..

This game was pretty fun!
I hope Wade does a few more.
We need scenarios in STL now that TOD is gone.

pictures???

hell, i have a ROCK VIDEO of it!

IF YOU SEE YOURSELF! CONSIDER YOURSELF FAMOUS! LOL

i wasnt really part of Wade's crew, just been emailing him a bunch as of late. i was part of the group that volunteered to be full time zombies and set the tone of the games. you gotta have balls to start a round with 12 against 75!!!!!!

my group plays at WW pretty much once a month, maybe more. we like to bring in new players and keep things even and organized, so being the zombies to get things going was pretty much our cup of tea. i just wish that the boundaries would have been watched a bit tighter, there were some folks who were way out of the bounds and flanking illegally, but still, it WAS A HELL OF A GOOD TIME!

(note: we are looking for people going to the Battle For Berlin thing at fearless fighters.)

I would love to see a monthly "medium/large(40-100)" event. would just need a field and some folks willing to think up the events etc... I know I have tons of crap that could be turned into various mil sim props or silly / sci fi style. Im sure there has to be other pack rats here as well.

^^^

the guys i play with have been thinking the same thing. it could even prep our area woodsballers for bigger games like d-day.

we have a pretty good rep with wacky warriors, and most of our players are closer to it than any other place. working on ideas, and i wanna get Wade involved if he has time.
