My friends A-5 is having trouble shooting strait, but this isn't any normal "it's cutting a little left"... this is ridiculous trouble. It will travel about 20 feet out and then curve in any direction.

If anyone else has had this trouble and fixed it, please help me(him) out here. I think it may be his Co2 pressure but he hasn't trie dit out yet.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

two things... first of all turn the velocity down its probably really high and second try cleaning out the gun AND the barrel.

Also if you are using paint that is too big for the gun it might also not work.

Yeah, that's frustrating.

Clean EVERYTHING: your hopper, cyclone, breech, barrel... EVERYTHING.
One tiny speck on ANYTHING could contaminate your paint and cause it to go wonky like you're describing.

While you're at it wipe the paint itself or start with a sealed bag that doesn't have any broken paint in it.
Buy some really good paint like Draxxus Hellfire which is super consistent.

Put 100 rounds in the hopper and sit in front of a chrono with a notepad. Record the velocity after every shot. If you're seeing anything much over +/-3fps that could be causing some inconsistency. If you hit +/-5 or 10fps, shots are going to be all over. Inconsistent paint can cause this but Hellfire should eliminate that as a possibility.

If you're on CO2, an anti-siphon tank held vertically should help prevent spikes due to liquid CO2 in the system. HPA shouldn't be an issue though an extra regulator in the system would help. A Palmer Stabilizer will work with CO2 as well.
