Oh no not these guys. While waiting for main stage at Ozzfest the other year I saw these guys play. Haven't laughed that hard in a while.

Hourglass - Lamb of God

Here, cleanse your ears with this.

Not bad... at all. Never knew who they were. I like the higher pitched backing vocals though... sounds like Dani Filth back in the day...

This is more of my pumping music though. This entire CD, from Deathcrush, to Freezing Moon, Carnage and then Pure Boinking Armageddon.

Deathcrush - Mayhem

What you hear here is the legendary black metal vocalist, Dead.

Eh, I can't stand the vocals. I love me some metal, but I hate the high pitched screamy stuff like this.

Anyone ever heard of Maylene and the Sons of Disaster? Now that is a good band!

And props to the In Flames comment, again.

My soul just died a little listening to that...

Disturbed, Mastadon, Rob Zombie and In Flames are amazing. I think you guys are forgetting Pantera :P

Maylene is great. They played at a small club by me the other day but word was they'd have a thrash pit. Any band that isn't man enough to have a real mosh pit isn't worth the money to see, although Maylene themselves were supposedly amazing. I mean nothing against them with the thrash comment but I mean... come on.

I did see Protest the Hero and Unearth (along with White Chapel and a few other worthless wannabe poser bands) and Protest the Hero and Unearth were awesome. Unearth had a huge thrash pit and then two/three mosh pits. At a small club... amazing.

Any fans of Protest or Unearth?

And for the record, I believe Maylene is the best band I heard for the first time in 2008. Wylie is fantastic.

The only 3 inches of Blood I know is what I saw, when I first worked at a Police Impound Yard (back in the late 80's) on the floor of a 70's model car that was used in a Homicide.

Maylene is indeed amazing. And when I went to see them, they did have a real pit. I was in it

Um... Grindcore FTW?

Most black metal bands like Mayhem aren't my thing. I like to listen to grindcore and death metal, Nasum is one of my favourite bands.

And Meylene is pretty cool... For a blues metal band. :)

No offense, but that killed me to listen to.
You guys need to listen to some of these bands:
Parkway Drive
The Acacia Strain
Winds of plague
and As Blood Runs Black.
