So in sports news, hockey starts soon. I'm a Devils fan. Yes...no more Kovy, Clarkson or Parise. But oh well. Andy Greene was recently given the A, which is good because I'm tired of losing captains. Though Salvador doesn't have the best stats, he's still a good guy in the locker room.

Post up your team and let's talk about how much the rangers suck!

Well obviously I'm a Jets fan, with them signing Setoguchi, Frolik, Halischuk and Pardy, it beefs us up a little bit, plus with the potential of Lowry, Schiefele, AND Trouba all making the leap to the NHL, it could be interesting.

Plus, we have the majority of our core players signed for the net 3-6 years. Pretty pumped.

And the Rangers are gonna blow this year.

Yea, I read an article about them having signed core players to pretty much 2018ish. But at the same time, one or two are kind of risky. I forget who (not too familiar with the Jets roster other than Kane and Little).

And yes, Rags will throw boat loads of money just to come up short. On top of it all, they'll be evicted in 10yrs. w00t.

Yes, enjoy him. But just remember this- when the end of his contract is up and he still has no cup win, he will jump ship after saying he wants to stay a Star...er, Wild, to another team willing to pay him a retarded salary. :P

Oh yes I know the Wild will never pull it together. Our organization has never had a solid tender. To win a Stanley Cup, you need a solid guy in net. We haven't had one since the team began!

Well Dallas had a pretty solid team in the late 90s. Wasn't that the old Minnesota roster? :P

GO! GO! BLACK AND GOLD!
Okay, so we lost the Stanley Cup to Chicago is Red Sox-esque fashion. I'm hoping the Bruins aren't going to be hit with some 'Curse of the Tim Thomas' here.
We signed Rask until the day he dies, so Boston has a solid net minder. I hate to see Horton leave, but he wanted out. I also hate we lost Ference. He was solid in the back.
As much as I love Jagr, he didn't quite fit in Boston. He will always be one of my favorite players, but he's lost too much pace to keep with the Bruins. Glad to see I can kinda root for him on CptObvious's Devils though.

But honestly, I'm glad Sequin is gone. He brought in all the pink hats that thought he was cute but don't know crap about hockey. He under performed, especially in the playoffs.

Very much looking forward to this season (especially since I don't think the Celtics will give me much in the winter). But we have to finish Red Sox baseball and get through the Pats season before it's 100% Bruins time ;)

[edit] November 15, Tyler Seguin and the Stars come to Boston for the first time. Should be interesting in the Garden.

My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.
We put our glass to the sky and lift up. And live tonight 'cause you can't take it with ya. So raise a pint for the people that aren't with us. And live tonight 'cause you can't take it with ya...

Go Wings! For a bit I didn't think we'd make it to the playoffs....

I think Alfredsson and Weiss will make decent additions to the team.

The draft picks are gong to be interesting to see. Anthony Mantha, Zach Nastasiuk, Tyler Bertuzzi, Mattias Janmark-Nylen, David Pope, Michael Wheaton, Marc McNulty, Hampus Melen.....All seem to be decent players. Bertuzzi looks to be a bit of a wildcard to me though.

Give us Brunner, damn it! Final piece of the puzzle to put together a good, deep offense.
