Well my friends, its tax season, and that means tax refunds. Now I know many of us are wondering what to buy with our big (more or less) check from the government. Now, as you've probably gathered from the topic title, im looking into barrels for my A-5. Any suggestions? I need the barrel to be accurate mostly, but a boost to range would be nice. My top choice right now is a 12" Thunder Pig.

The only barrel that really boosts range is a flatline barrel and an Apex to some extent. All other barrels just increase accuracy some. I would reccomend a speec ops C-Series barrel or the Lapco 12" bigshot barrel which is what I am getting.

Agreed 110%. I had an Apex for my 98custom and I'm getting one for my X7, its the only barrel I trust to give me the range I need to outweigh the advantages the tournyballers have in rate of fire

i think an apex takes a lot of strategy and skill out of the game. so your team runs into an enemy defender behind a fixed bunker, and instead of using tactics and coordination to suppress and flank him, you tweak your barrel a few degrees and hit him in the chest from around the corner. where's the teamwork in that? and wouldn't it piss you off if you got hit by an enemy you couldn't even see?

Also was leaning towards a j&j Ceramic 14"
