my very pregnant wife whom has never shot a paintball gun came outside and wanted to shoot the pump. the funny and yet so upsetting part was that her very 1st shot from 40 feet hit the target (a hanging mountain dew bottle). we both started laughing then the 2nd shot barely missed....the 3rd and 4th shots hit. i was like Dirty Acronym???? holy beginners luck!! then i moved her back to about 60 feet and let her shoot. she still hit it a couple of times :) she apparenlty likes to shoot the markers.....she just doesn't want to get shot (even when she's not carrying a baby :laugh: ). she's told me that i now need to carry more paint in the house so that she can target shoot. :happy:

Looks like she has pretty good form. Remind me to run away if she is ever on the opposing team.

sweetness, now all you need to do is get her to play!

Might have another paintball family on here in about 10 years, than you can face off against Krazy8 and his family!
Still misses DoN ;_;

pretty cool bud!

my wife not too long ago, who had never shot any type of firearm in her life, wanted to have a go while my dad and I were plinking with a bb gun. dad and I had been pegging this target from quite a ways out and pretty tickled with ourselvrs, so the wife sholdered it and scored four bulls eyes at 100 feet (odd-eyed by the way). we were absolutely floored.

so a few days later she and I are out backpacking and I brought my 10 gauge and some slugs with me. she decided to give it a go! all 115 lbs of her!! so I was trying to explain how a shotgun shooting slugs wasn't so accurate and told her to aim at a small branch about 100 feet away (just to illustrate). she touched it off and wouldn't you know... the branch falls!

'Oh, that's not so bad,' she says!

needless to say, once the little ones are a big bigger, she and I are going to the first scenario that comes up!

truly happy for you and I hope you're both able to get out soon.

Same thing happened with my dad when I handed him my Palmers Typhoon.

Look out!! My wife was on the field till she was 4/5 months along w/ our son! The ref's kept threatening to make her carry a shield. She was still getting surrenders/bunkers!! (Brings a tear to my eye!) My kids are 4 & 2 (or 6 & 8 years from paintballing). Tell her to keep up the practice and when the kid gets older, get her an Empire body armor top and she'll be a killer!! :D
If the person on the other end of your gun does not walk away eagerly anticipating the next game because of your actions,
you have failed as a paintballer.

10 gauge ain't that bad eh? try shooting it for 200 shots in a competition, lol you can't lift your arm the next day, and i'm not a small guy, i'm 6'4 225

I'm not man enough to say that a 10 gauge doesn't hurt :P

I finally got a chance to see the pictures this morning. See any problems with this one?
