Hey Guys,

I've been trying to figure out what is wrong with this gun, I have an A-5 and got this for my little brother (he's 8 and wants to paintball). Now I've had this gun working for about 8 months. I replaced the battery, load up the tank/hopper have it set too CO2 but when I go to fire nothing.

I can hear air coming out of the gun, near the trigger area. weird thing is, yesterday when I took the tank off, I was holding the trigger and a paintball did shoot out..Just don't know what's going on.

any suggestions??

Thanks!

It sounds like one of your bango fittings has gone bad.

Read the manual. I'm sure you can find instructions somewhere. Also, I think he meant "banjo".

ok I solved the leaking problem the bolt was in too tight, but the gun still doesn't fire.

if it is the Banjo fitting where could I get another part, and how would I install it, the gun guide doesn't show how to take the gun apart, just how to clean it.

I would know about breakdowns and repairs, I play pump^_^. You can try to google it (Thats right, I just used google as a verb:P) I'm pretty sure the SP-1 is VERY similar to the Ion's internals, so much so I think it uses the same banjo fitting. I'm sure you would get way better results saerching "Ion banjo repair" or something like that.

but the bolts and stuff are all wrong for the SP1, I can't even get the grip off of the gun.. >.< this is getting annoying.

Ok, what exactly is the problem? Is it leaking or will not turn on?

Call Smart Parts, I hear they have good customer service.

I have an SP-1, once in a long while I will pull the trigger and the gun won't fire, but it is because the battery is either low, or the gun is about to release excess pressure out of the relief valve.

Change the battery again ensure a fresh brand new one. If you replaced it with one that has been sitting for a while it may have lost charge.
