id go with the hammerhead out of sheer simplicity,
i got lots of reasons to like the flatline and lots of reasons to think hard about getting a flatline.

but im tired now so i will not go into great detail but a search of the forum should help you find some good info for your question

i will be getting a new barrel soon and i cant decide between the flatline and hammerhead 16" bang stixxxx. i have a 98 custom ACT. any advice? :P

well i have a BT M16 apex barrel - it acts as a regular barrel, flatline, and alllows you to curve your shots and it also has a dive bomb affect..
its one of them barrels that your going to have to shoot a few times to dial in a direct shot.
now i have had people refer to me as.. Mr. Cheater Barrel.. but i reserve the use of that for players like that...
but im really into the hole milsim thing, and it works out good for me, if you are into speedball play, stick with something simple.. for a barrel that is just going to shoot straight.. i dont think id pay more then $50 for one.. but thats just me..
