A shield in paintball is stupid. What's next? Gun hits not counting?

I disagree. It is the ability to change the rules that can keep a game interesting. We had one game where a guy couldn't die unless he was hit between the shoulder blades. It was fun.

Just because you can't deal with change doesn't mean that trying something new is stupid. ;)

Anyways, a game with moving bunkers would be awesome. Like, if somebody rigged up those spools to (SLOWLY) roll back and forth. HAHA. OK, they'd have to find a way to make it safe first... Still....something like that would be interesting...

I played in a smaller scenario game where certain players (their side was the police) were allowed to use riot shields to block paintballs. They could only use pistols, and if any grenade spray hit the shield, they were eliminated. It actually made for a pretty fun game.

Well, I finished it but I decided to scrap the project. In the end it ended up being just to heavy and impractical, although, there was no way a paintball would even dent it  , so it did work. What I might do is add a little bit more water to the mix to make it thinner and therefore lighter. But sometimes its trying impractical things that transform into very practical things.

If I were to do this to 2 pieces of foam and put them together, it would make for a very lightweight and sturdy bunker...

Thanx for staying posted on my project :)

just wondering if you perfected the steps on making the shield? sounds like something id like to spend some time on and see how it works.
