I was going to paint it tiger stripe (for practice) but screwed up. I improvised and created this kind of splat thing... it was two layers and i might try it out in camo colors but for now it looks like..... a blood splat maybe?
anyway i think it didn't turn out too bad, not great, but not bad

How did you mess up? I can see that it went bad, but just curious of how it happened. Interesting design anyways, would be cool in different colors.

it was a little windy and it blew the stencil out of place while i was painting. one side ids pretty decent for tigerstripe but the other one is messy. Once overything fried it had a matte kind of finish to it and its pretty decent.

It still looks pretty good though. It kind of looks like you hit someone off the head with it. It would be good for like a zombie survivial.

I like it. You should roll with it, you can improve it, and make it more interesting. Thumbs up! ;) However to aid against this error, try next time laying it in a box and taping the stencil down.

Welcome to the forum Julientar, but please read post dates before posting in a topic. This page is more than a year old, as so much that this person has probably gotten rid of or changed that long ago.

Again, Welcome, and enjoy your stay, but do try to be a bit more attentive in the future okay? Posted Image

a good way to do it, it to take this blue painters tape, and rip the sides of like 5" pieces, and it makes stripes. Tape those on your hopper, then rip bigger ones, and place them over the smaller ones. Spraypaint tan (or whatever), take off bigger pieces, and spraypaint green (or other main color.) comes out nice. Ill see if i can find a pic of a ghetto job i did.
