It used to be not until the field was closed, the refs were gone, and the field owner kicked us out so he could sleep.

Now? Im turning old. Got an issue with my rib that makes it more 'until my body quits' which is always before i want to leave.

No no no...and again NO. You're a TEENAGER for cryin' out loud...you dont get to use that excuse yet. Finish college & squeeze out a couple of kids first...then you can complain about being old.

No kidding. I'm 61 days out from being 39. I'm about 60 pounds overweight, have a bad back, suffer asthma and have various foot problems.

So far I've only used my asthma once as an excuse, at EW. Air was way too thin for me to be running around and still breathe.

Ive played with a sprained ankle and twisted wrist before. It was a woodsball match and i tripped and fell of a bluff I landed on one foot and hand. We were closed to lossing the game so i didnt quit. I did a field splint on my ankle and just held my marker with one hand, i have a strap. We one that day with only 3 out of 15 people left on our team.

It's been a long time since I played, but having to take care of the family, or having to leave early enough so I'd be able to function the next day at work were always big factors...LOL

I play until it's one of these two things:
-Too dark to see anymore.
-I can't walk anymore (literally happened at SuperGame 38).

Not to say I won't play at night. Night games are really cool!

lol i FEEL like im turning old...
by the end of the day, everything hurts... between migraines and rib and whatever else have you... blah. dont feel as young as i used to, anyway.

I have a slipped rib (due to falling down stairs, and then playing mmg a few days later, and then playing snake a bunch, so it never healed), so i play till it moves around enough to start aching (slipped rib = not attached to rest of ribs or spine, basically), and then im like, GOLLY GEE WILIKERS, im starting to sound like the old mcarterbrown guys, moaning every time i move when its only halfways through the day.
