What threads does the ion (specifically the XE but they're certainly the same) barrel take?

Thanks & sorry for the dumb question.

We used to call them impulse threads. Now we call them ion threads. Same as NXTs.

No we call them just Smart Parts threads because every gun produced right now and here on out will have the same thread pattern.

You're one step behind :) They're 'smart parts' threads now...They don't make anything else anymore (for their own markers, they still make other threads of course)

I'm 4 minutes behind. lol

Impulse - look on your packaging Sean. What does it say? huh ... yeah.

I'm going to search your site - and heaven help you if I see different. I'm too old to change again.

Ahh: you did change it on your site. See that's when kids call me a newb for not knowing? They don't know what the heck an impulse is but they know I'm wrong.

lol... it is all in the process of changing . We started the "Smartparts" thread name starting in October 2007.

I think the feedneck threads would still be ion threads...my impulse and ion feednecks aren't interchangeable...though i wasn't trying very hard, it was more of a 5 second trial and forget thing. ;)

Okay...strike that, it fits... :D

Classic Ion, Impulse, Epiphany, and SFT Shocker are all the same. They do tend to strip easier, which is why we changed it on the newer guns

NXT, ION XE, EOS are NXT Threads (which will probably one day be called Smart Parts thread)

SP8 - it's own feedneck

SP1 and Vibe - it's own feedneck

So will SP eventually license out their feedneck threads like angel did?
