Ive been gone for a few months and just came back but what happened to the Longbow for the Tac-1? Did they completely stop making them all together? I really wanted to get that setup brand new...now I might have to buy used. Or is there anything better out there now in that regard? I really don't want to have to go with an ION setup... whats new for us AGD guys?

They stopped making the Tac-One Longbow stuff for a while...I had to pay a good penny for mine used. I think SO is going to start producing them again soon though. Lets just hope they lower the price.

Search through the forum posts.

The TAC design changed which made the Longbow incompatible, but it is only partly incompatible.
(Look through the past correspondence on the TAC1 to see if you need the full compatibility for what you want)

A batch of old design ones were said to be produced for Spec Ops but have probably all gone on pre-orders.

AGD do offer a Longbow compatible one here http://store.airgundesignsusa.com/index.cf...p;categoryID=81 (Out of stock but they say it will be available)

Longbow parts from Spec Ops may be easier to get if you call them to pre-order.

you could probably still get one new, just not together.... buy a new longbow ready tac1 and then see if you can do what tommikka said

Even if you don't see it on the site, we can still get it for you!!!
No, we won't be stocking .50 caliber anything....

On the AGD site, it says Tac-One that can be Longbow ready. What exactly does it mean to be Longbow ready?

The SpecOps Longbow body kit for the TAC-One is for the previous version of the AGD Tac-One.

AGD changed the design which affected part of the Longbow fitting. (I understand this just affects the stock)

AGD give the option of buying the original style TAC-One, if you don't specify this you will get the new design.

The "Longbow Ready" Tac-One had a differnt rail that would accept the Longbow shroud/stock. The rail looks similar to the Emag rail.

So, what exactly did they change? And does it tinker with the performance?

No, doesnt effect performance. All they changed was the rail. The rail is the peice in the middle. It goes, Body/Rail/Grip Frame
