I think it's just a cover for the pneumatics. Where can you get one? No idea. The karni is out of production isn't it? Might have to spend time scouring Ebay and PBn.

I think he's talking about the solenoid.

Check ebay, and make some WTB threads. You'd probably have best luck on customcockers.com/forum

You should spend some time researching about the 'cocker before you buy one, if you want to, that is.

lol. Karni's have always been popular. Just since WGP stopped making em, they have gained even more popularity, cause they are harder to get and cheaper all around. When they were $1400, few bought them and could afford them. Now that they are only $400 everyone can afford it, so there is a bigger market for them

Karnivor's are great markers. But if you are someone who wants a maintenance free marker (DM's, PM's, Angels, etc), DON'T GET ONE. The Karni may be electronic, but that doesn't mean it is easy to maintain. You still need to know how a cocker works, how to troubleshoot it, and know the extensive settings the E2 board offers. Before you consider getting one, make sure you know your way around how a cocker works and how to fix it. Cockers need constant checking, there's always a little something that needs tuning. At least with a Karni you don't need to adjust the Back block, but by all means don't go messing around with the ICS (Internal Cocking System), you're asking for a world of trouble otherwise.

It's a great marker, but be ready to spend time tuning it alot.

Comparatively, they may as well be.
No gun is maintenance free. You're going to have to crack open whatever you own at some point or another for whatever reason.

Cockers really don't "need constant checking". If you don't mess with any settings nothing changes. The only time you have to constantly mess with it is if the owner constantly messes with it. That is the number one problem with cockers, owners messing with them when they are running perfectly fine. Cockers are great markers. But if you don't know what you are doing and the cocker works fine already, you don't mess with it. Problem is, every idiot thinks "gee i can make this better, let me adjust these 3 different things at once.. *tries marker and it doesn't work anymore* Oh CRAP it doesn't work anymore...piece of crap marker...doesn't freakin work. All wgp's fault for making a crappy marker". No it isn't wgp's fault. The marker works great, it's the idiots that adjust everything and don't know how to fix it that give all cockers a bad name.

PM's and DM's are far from maintenance free. After playing with guys who only use DM's you see them often having to replace orings in them cause one has a tiny miniscule sliver missing, and the whole marker is venting thru cause of it.

I am not going to say cockers are for beginers, nor will i say that they are easy. But they do not need constant checking. Get it working right once, and Leave It ALone. It won't trouble you again until the owner starts messing with it.
