Do not wear it, especially in large pieces.
I made a camo duct tape vest, a piece of paper covered on each side with 5 layers of tape.
Then I shot at it, about a 9-oz. tanks worth of shots on a 98 from 20 yards.
Decimated, massive holes, granted it wasnt braced by the chest of whoever would be wearing it, but wow, my beloved duct tape, killed like that.

It wont hurt you, but it sure as hell wont help you.
If you are a Christian paintballer, put this in your sig.
One day a man walked into a bar and ordered a martini, the bartender, trying to be nice, asked him what his I.Q. was, the man said it was 150, so they talked about physics and stuff.
The next day, the man walked in again, ordered another martini, and told the bartender his I.Q. was 100, so they talked about football.
The last day, the man walked in again, ordered another martini, and told the bartender his I.Q. was 20, the bartender said "YOU PEOPLE ARE REALLY GOING TO NOMINATE HILARY FOR PRESIDENT?"

lol I've never thought of that. A stronger material in the middle might help hold it together. But even though that seems pretty weak how often do you get shot that many times from 20 yards? It would probably last a while if you don't get it drenched or abuse it.

1.) you built it wrong
2.) you didnt use enough Duct Tape

there is technique to using DT, you have to alternate the direction in which you apply it(ex. horizontaly then verticaly)

or you didnt use enough enough tape, making armour out of tape isnt cheap it will cost some money. i have actually made a vest out of DT(i get it for free :)) and i can beat the crap out of it and it holds up just fine.

Walmart selles camo DT if youre really gonna make one.
I did realize that I only taped in one direction, but I overlapped enough to still be caught off guard by its being shredded.
You may not get shot up like I did my vest, but that's how they test the real thing... I think.
It's also insanely inflexible, also because I taped one direction, but I dont think any different config cold seriously help that.

it could be the thickness, mine is about 1/2 inch thick, that might have something to do with it, it ould just be the different designs each of us made.

i only have it for when it gets cold out, 'cause if you have ever worn DT in large quanities youll notice that it just traps in all the heat and keeps you nice and toasty.
