1. I have a original ion I got it used and my banjo fitting went bad, so before I buy another one is there a more durable one that will last longer and how many times can I take my marker apart before the banjo breaks?

2. What is the best battery and why?

3. What is the best trigger for the ion I have narrowed it down to ANS and CP. I want a trigger that is 4way adjustable and dose not wiggle, is there such trigger?

4. Is the Smart Parts on off asa any good if not which is better?

1. Most banjo fittings are similar in function. What went bad on it?

2. Name brand alkaline are best - Energizers is what I use.

3. Best trigger - personal choice and comfort.

4. If you want an on/off ASA make sure it vents and is small. CP mini, Dye, Hybrid are all good. Not sure about the SP but their aftermarket isn't bad.

1. I dont know of any other brand Ion banjos, so I would just get another one from SP. They are usually pretty durable...Ive had mine for several years & havnt had one break yet.
2. Any name brand should work...avoid generic/store brands though. I like Duracell.
If you're using rechargeables, make sure they are true 9.6v...some rechargeables are actually 9.0 & wont work as well.
3. I like the CP triggers...3 way adjustable & minimal wiggle. I have a CP Rake & its great...much better than the stock one.
4. Again, I would go with the CP on/off asa. Cheaper than the SP one & just as good if not better...

1) Just be careful when you dissemble your marker, and the banjo should have no problems what so ever.
2) For name brand batteries, go with the Energizer brand, that's all I would use. Smart Parts has a new battery out, and its pretty damn cool. Works for almost forever also.
3) I either stick with the stock trigger, or I would use the NDZ line, but that's me.
4) The asa is good, it just needs a bleeder. The next best thing I've seen, has been the CP line.
Coming soon.

The reason I was going to get a Smart Parts is, because I can get it with a Smart Parts mini drop for $15 at my local pro shop is that a good deal? The problem with the banjo is when you pull the marker apart (once a week for me I take it apart because that is half the fun of paintball [for me] ) the banjo is what takes all the stress from pulling the gip and body apart and got (streched) so that broke the seal).

You are not suppose to pull the body and the grip apart.
You are suppose to !gently! push up on the board to get them apart.

Tora beat me to it. That's the easiest and safest way to remove the internals from the grip.
