I just got my new paintball gun, and I'm looking for a barrel that I can put a foregrip on to give it more of a mil-sim look. I found this one, but it doesn't say what brand of barrel it is. http://www.paintballbuster.com/site/750267...duct/RAP4-TRB14 I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it? It looks like a pretty descent barrel to me, which is all I'm really looking for at the moment.

It says it's made by RAP4, which doesn't have the beat reputation in paintball. Also, it says it is rifled, which to tell the truth hasn't been proven to be any more accurate. May I ask what marker it is your wanting to put this on, so we know what threading barrels to look for?

BT-16. I want to get an m4 look on the gun, but I've heard that the barrels in those kits they sell are crap, so I've been trying to come up with a way to get the look without getting a bad barrel. So, I would buy this barrel and add the extra stuff onto it, which they said on the website you can do with that barrel. I haven't found any other barrels that can do something like that, so I thought I might give this one a try.

First of all, what marker did you get?

A5 AR-15 Foregrip

Is this something you would be interested in?

I got a BT-16. Yeah, that does look like something I would be interested in. Maybe not so much the price though. My budget is about $70 right now.

The BT-16 has 98 custom barrel threads if I'm not mistaken. That will make things a bit easier and harder at the same time. Easier now that I know what to look for, harder because there's not as many barrels threaded in 98 as say A5 threads, which the BT-4's have.

Yes the BT-16 is has 98 threading.

I'm not sure but I recall something about a "select a barre"l adapter. I don't know if it came with the bt16 or was/is an add on but it's supposed to allow you to use any barrel on it. it may be something to look into to give you more barrel options.

The BT-4 has the Selecta-barrel adapter, but I don't know about the BT-16, not to mention I've never seen any of these internal adapters for sale.

Look through these barrel packages:

RAP4 Barrel Packages

I like the threaded tip for installing mock silencers, different flash suppressors, sound amplifiers, etc.

The tactical rifled barrel has straight rifling so it stops the paintballs from spinning which can cause them to curve.
I have just the smooth bore tactical barrel and its rather good.
