Well i'm sure most of the ppl on here have heard of SpecOps' Double Trouble. Would it be possible to make one out of the Ion?

yup...its possible, if your good you could just have one trigger to fire both markers rather than using a crank as well.

Anything is possible, just depends on how much work your willing to do and how much you know what your doing.

I've thought about this before. It would be awesome to have the ability to make a double body kit and somehow connect that to a custom grip frame that would support the two ion's in there with only 1 trigger. It could be done, but it would take some ingenious planning and equipment

I dont see why it wouldnt be possible. you might have to fabricate a platform or frame for and a trigger system. But otherwise seems very possible.

Well, I can't imagine that it would be too difficult to build a little frame to connect them in one way or another. After that, you could just rig the electronics to fire both guns from the same trigger.

So I'm sure it could be done if you know what you're doing. Sounds sick. B)

I believe Ydna on pbnation made three ions hooked together so that would be more than double trouble plus he did it all electrical.
This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is it vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished, as the once vital voice of the verisimilitude now venerates what they once vilified. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose vis-Ó-vis an introduction, and so it is my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without u would still have good men doing good things and evil men doing evil things. But for good men to do evil things... That takes Religion

Jordan beat me to that link...darn it...

Annnny way...I would have given a little story on how it works...guess he doesnt know.

That thing is three Smart Parts Ions. The solnoid control for all three is linked to the center board. MEANING that the user only has to operate the center trigger in order for all three markers to fire. UNFORTUNATLY most fields prohibit any marker or marker configuration that fires more than one ball per trigger pull...and that fires three, thus is illegal at most fields and tournements.

It is also illegal in the SPPL due to its three barrels and multiball firing.

Now if only they had to programming skill to have different firing modes for that. Like one barrel at a time, or 2 than 1, or all 3 at once. And then have ramping going on as well...or even just full auto....mmmm 30ish bps x 3 markers = happiness.
