Not much else to say. http://www.tippmann....ils.aspx?id=432

This is gonna bring Tippmann a big chunk of the soft goods market. It'll be funny to see speedballers saying now ... I want the Tippmann tank cover and 4+3.

Well IDK Thalion........while yes, I like the NXE constructs, the camo schemes were horrid.

Glad I already have my 5+4+2 Dave Baines pack.

Honestly, I see this as the end for NXe. We all know them as quality producers, but now, they'll have to full Tippmann Market Quotas. Might as well go with Redz or any other maker. Nighty nighty quality, Good morning mass produced Chinese crap!

Okay, so the above is a "worst case scenario" or... more likely "most likely scenario".

All I'm saying is this, "Know WHO is making your soft gear."

My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.

That last pod pack released by Tippmann looks better than the NXe ones IMO. It looks more empire like.

I never thought of NXe stuff as top quality but I always thought it was one of the best stuff in it's price range.

Definetly is not a happy day for me, I mean, I don't buy to much new gear anyways...however NXe has been a good brand, and I'm disappointed that they are being taken over by a company lik Tippmann...I loved the old 98, but all of the new guns in my opinion are of a much lower quality and not something that I am proud of. I'll probably just end up dishing out more money and buying empire or redz over buying soft gear from Tippmann...

I think it'll open Tippmann up to the speedball crowd a bit. Also I see the NXe journey is relaunched. That surprises me because NXe didn't take it to market because the quality was't there due to "popcorning"

Not sure why everyone thinks this is a bad thing for NXe? Tippmann is a smart company and I am sure they are going to keep the brand going. Not to mention this opens Tippmann up to all the manufacturing contact NXe used to produce their gear.

More than likely in the future you are going to see better designed packs, covers and pads designed by the folks at NXe and branded Tippmann. And better camo options for those speed ballers looking to add variety to their kit.

Should be a win win for both companies honestly.

Well Druid. That story tells all. The old NXe owner preached that he always wanted quality and lost big money by not producing the JRNY hopper because it was a poor preformer. Days after the Tippmann buy out ansgear is selling the new Tippmann/NXe JRNY hopper. I guess the quality of that hopper is good enough for Tippmann standards.

Why does it sound like people think Tippmann is producing markers and products to the likes of Dangerous Power?

They make low-to-medium grade gear and have for over 15 years. Yet, people CONTINUE to buy their gear.

Someone once said [and I forget where] that Tippmann was the one company to sell more markers than any other.

So why, all of a sudden, is there "doom and gloom" in people's posts?

Is this the start of fan-boy envy? I don't know...but it sure does sound like it.........
