I have an MR-1 that ive decided to fix up and get back on the field, but i do not know whether or not it can shoot correctly without a stock? i dont have any gas to test it with, but do i need the stock on the marker for it to fire probably?

No, you don't need the stock. Though it does help keep dirt away from the bolt and internals, but isn't necessary to function.

I usually play without the stock on mine just because it makes it a more maneuverable marker.

I know that this isn't a part of the discussion, but I recommend that you go with Smart Part barrels. http://www.smartparts.com/ They will give you dead on accuracy.

I've always been kinda curious as to how they are as a marker. I've never played with any of the mr models. They look fun though.
If you can't hack it, then I suggest you pack it!

Doesn't matter what gun you have, as long as you can hit what you're looking at.

If you knew that it wasn't part of the discussion, then why post it?

Also, Smart Parts is going out of business.

Basically they're entry level Spyders with visual mods and an E-trigger.
